Udyamita Divas – 21st August

Udyamita Divas is celebrated on August 21st as World Entrepreneurs Day.

Udyamita aims to create local job opportunities and higher wealth.

Udyamita can help solve various issues such as water, sanitation, health, education, and women empowerment.

Udyamita is open to anyone in the country and can lead to personal meaning, economic growth, and problem-solving.

Udyamita is seen as a moral process similar to Satyagraha and Sarvodaya.

The program for Udyamita Divas is planned for 90 minutes, with three segments of 30 minutes each.

The first segment focuses on setting the stage and introducing the local Udyamita leader.

Udyamita Divas: 21st August World Entrepreneurs Day

 A day that has been coined to celebrate innovation and empowerment

 of entrepreneurship and leadership throughout the world. Entrepreneurship

 is crucial not just for job creation but an essential and vital part 

of our economic growth and problem-solving. Message

 for Udyamita Divas – World Entrepreneurs’ 

Day 1. Udyamita as a means of employment – Unlike the focus on 

jobs that were inculcated by a colonial system Udyamita creates an 

opportunity to create jobs locally and often with higher wealth 

creating opportunity 

Days 2. Udyamita as a means of problem-solving – 

Udyamita if it is done across the country can 

solve many of the issues we are facing as a country from water

 and sanitation, to health, education, to women's empowerment

 locally and this is part of the nation building process 

Days 3. Udyamita is for everyone – Any person in the

 country can take the path of Udyamita and thereby create meaning 

in his life, economic growth for himself, his community and 

solve the issues faced by our country 

Days 4. Udyamita as an Indian moral process – A force like 

Satyagraha or Sarvodaya can bring out the creative potential in 

our citizens and the economic prosperity of our country by sacrificing 

today to build for tomorrow. The approximate program for Udyamita 

Divas 1. Overall program planned for 90 minutes, with three broad 

segments of 30 minutes each 2. The first segment of 30 minutes:  Setting 

the stage, and the local Udyamita leader, who can be head of that 

institutions outlining how dynamite can be beneficial for the

 participants, for society 

and for the economy. A basic script is as per above; an appropriate video

 can also be played that is inspiring provided by Swavalambi Bharat 

Abhiyan. 3. Second 30 minutes:  Live streaming of the message 

(or discussion) with videos of the AICTE Chairman and other videos

 from the Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan, 

and other programs that have been

instituted by the government – Startup India, Mudra, Swavalambi and 

others. These will be provided shortly. 4. Third 30-minute local role 

models as Udyamis:  Those who have done entrepreneurship and have

 benefited from it, what were the challenges, and some opportunities 

they had and what support they got from the various 

government institutions and their state of mind now that

 they are successful. This can also 

have a local bank manager or incubation professional or a local 

management expert as a speaker.
